Law in short- Old Testament, Gospel- New Testament.

This is as far as how these two testaments teach us to live. Before Christ,
the law governed us. It was our side of the covenant that Moses made with God
for Israel. He would be our God, offer protection and provide while we would
obey his instruction. The covenant is an interesting concept because it is not
your every day, run of the mill "deal." Throughout the exodus we saw
God's people failing to keep their side of the covenant yet God remained
faithful. The same is true in today's New Testament word.

Since we belong to Christ, in a sense we are in dept to Him, we should live
our lives in His instruction so as to please Him. Try as we might to always live
as we should, we fail. We fall into the trap of believing we know what we want
out of life and what is beneficial for ourselves. Are we gods to make such a
declaration? Contrary, we are the host for sin. For sin is our original nature
from which Christ pulled us and so often finds us running to. The...
