All people need to exercise. It has been proven that exercising daily has many positive effects on a person. Two out of three people who have health problems could have prevented them by simply exercising. There have been numerous articles published by top-notch magazines and newspapers stating the many benefits of exercise. Everyone from athletes to the average Joe should work out. Exercise can benefit everyone in one way or another.
     Exercise helps athletes to perform better in their sporting events. Exercise will help to increase an athlete’s performance. Sports, in which endurance is a big factor, require strenuous exercise. The hardest part of playing soccer is not ball control or shooting skill, it is all the hard work in the preseason. Playing soccer requires a person to be in top shape. Exercising before a sporting season will help prevent an athlete from being injured during the season. If an athlete does not train vigorously in the off season, there is a greater chance of that athlete being injured. If a person would like to excel in a sport, they must exercise.
     Exercise is also a great way for a person to stay healthy. Exercise is imperative in preventing heart disease. The best way to prevent a heart attack is to exercise daily. To stay trim, exercising is very important. Exercising will help a person to keep those four or five unwanted pounds off, especially during the holiday season.
