Have you ever thought about what you would like to learn in a formal education?  Many people would probably like to learn something different than what they actually learn.  Have you ever thought about being taught what you will need to know when you are out on your own and living your own life?  What about how to get a job?  Paulo Freire feels that students should be learning these things instead of learning facts.  Students need to learn how to learn and be able to analyze what they learn.
