            THE ZEALOT

“ Mom, where do you want me to put this box?” exclaimed Jordan
Jordan was four ten and, short for seventh grade, she  had tan skin.
Jordan had big vibrant brown eyes with excitement in them. She had bouncy brown, tight, thick curly hair with lots of shine and shimmer.
Jordan, her younger brother Dakota, and their dear mother Meariam were moving to Berney, Texas, in a brand new city, in a brand new neighborhood, in a brand new state! They arrived all the way from Saskatchewan, Canada they moved because their strict, but loving father had been brutally murdered by a co-worker. He was upset because the children’s father had gotten the V.P. job instead of himself, and decided to stab him to death.  It had been a very tough last month.
“ Put it in your brothers room!”  Jordan’s mom called back.
“ Is it the second or the third door on the left?” Jordan asked.
“ I don’t know find your brother, ask him!” Meariam replied tiredly.
     “Ughgh”
Jordan went outside to find her brother, realizing it was a nice day she decided to put shorts on. In the neighborhood their were lots of children Dakota’s age so she figured he was playing with some of them in the field behind the neighborhood. He wasn’t there when she looked.
Jordan decided to put her roller blades on while she looked for Dakota.  While she was going up and down their street a boy whom looked about fourteen came out with his navy blue and black  roller streaks. While she was going up and down the street he was doing tricks and flips. Sitting there in awe on the curb Jordan watched him. Finally he came over and sat next to her.
“ Whoa, you are really good on those,” she started conversation “I’ve never seen anyone as good as you before. I wish I could do that!”
“Thanks, I compete down in Albany,” he replied and with a slight pause went, “My name is Charlie but everyone calls me Chaz! What’s your name?”
It took her a minute to realize what he said because he was the cutest guy she’d ever seen.
“ ugh, do you have a name, what are you staring at?” he questioned cautiously.
“ oh, sorry, nothing my name is Jordan. I just moved in over there,”
she pointed across the street, “ what grade are you in?”
“ Seventh,” he replied smoothly, Jordan nodded, “ What school are you going to? ”he asked her with his smooth slangy voice.
“ H.D.M.S., you know Happy  Day Middle School, I hope people their are nice!” Jordan replied.
“ Me too. Well I gotta go I have stuff to do, I’ll see you later,” ...
