Iran has a command economy. They have a population of 66 million people. Iran is the second largest oil producer in the world. They also major in wheat, sugar, beets, barley, caviar, and pistachio nuts. Iran imports meat and first aid supplies like medicine. The doctor population ratio is 1 doctor for every 2,821 people. Iran's medical field is very weak, compared to others. Also weak compared to others is Iran's literacy rate, which is 54%. The type of government Iran has is an Islamic Republic. Their government takes complete control over their economy. They have no free health or education. They only have paid education for ages 6 through 10. Iran's economy appears to be declining through the years to come.
