Howard Stern:  The King of all Media

How far would you be willing to go to gain success?  Would you be willing to put your job on the line?  Howard Stern has made a name for himself by being the most talked about, controversial disk jockey in the United States today.  His fans are split between those who love him and those who love to hate him.  Curiosity has them wondering what he will say or do next.  He is internationally known for being very opinionated, and has the attitude that his opinion is the only one that is correct.  For example:  On his radio show one day last week he had a caller on the air that was criticizing him for having two gay men on his television show the night before.  Mr. Stern told the caller to shut up, because he was big enough the he did not have to listen to what that particular caller had to say.  Should someone wish to come onto his show they must be willing to accept his humor, insults, and degrading comments.

So why do people want to go on The Howard Stern Radio Show?  In one word, ratings.  He is listened to in approximately 52 different markets and also in Canada.  He has two low rated TV shows.  One is on CBS affiliates and the other is on cable.  He also has had a number one movie at the theater.
So how far will a guest go to obtain Mr. Stern’s approval?  Woman will actually beg to come on to his show, they are more than willing to do anything to gain his attention.  Almost without exception, t...
