A Wrinkle in Time is a fiction novel by Madeleine L'Engle. The theme of this book is; The trials of good vs. evil, or good vs. bad.
Meg Murry, a thirteen-year-old girl is having problems in school. Her mother and father are both brilliant scientists, but her father has been missing for over a year. One dark and stormy night the Murry family is visited by a strange visitor. This strange visitor tells Meg's mother, "There is such think as a Tesseract." Later Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which try and help Meg, and Charles find there father. Meg and Charles meet an older boy Calvin O' Keefe and they become friends, before leaving on a journey to find their father. Then together, Meg, Charles and Calvin go on a great journey on the planet Camazotz. There they find Dr. Murry, and they have to free him from "IT". "IT" is a brain that controls Camazotz. After an ordeal with "IT" and after almost being drawn into the darkness (evil), Meg outwits evil with love, and then they escape back to Earth.
This book starts out on Earth, and then moves to a dark planet called Camazotz. There is no time or date at which this story is takes place, but I don't think that the story really needs one. It would take away from the mystery, and scientif
