Juvinile Detintion
Should juvinile detention be legal? The answer is yes if your a law obiding citezen thats afraid of the sometimes innocent children in the institution. My opinion is NO, why would you want a child to waste their life in a cold cell? I can undestand that some children are "bad", but instead of locking them up what is society in general trying to do about it? nothing. I have been through this "correctional facility" more times than you can count on your hands and taking your socks off and counting your toes. Did it rehabilitate me you might ask, well have i stopped doing what i do, no. That is the simpelest answer i can give. The only thing D.T has done for me is made me try harder not to get caught. D.T is the most repulsive form of punnishment you can give to a teenager. First you sit in a cramped, hot, stank smellin holding area for 2-3 hours. After you get your information and inventory taken down you have to go into a "bathroom" and get stripped searched. You have to get butt naked while some guy is watching your every move. Then you have to spread your cheeks for the metal detecter. You take a shower with the camera on your naked bum the whole time, while your " private parts" shrivel from the cold water and itch from the Bob Barker products.
