The day was hot; not a cloud in the sky, the air could NOT be any calmer. The sun beat down on the freshly cut field. It was my last home game of my senior year. I walk out to the football field to feel it's potential and its softness. The field runs north and south. It is right in the middle of two mountains in a valley.
