Images of Women in Post World War I Europe During World War I, women were given new freedoms that they had never experienced before. Women were allowed in the workplace with jobs that were once considered just for men. Wives were also considered the head of the household while their husbands were away fighting in the war. The boys are hiding in the dressing room and Lola distracts Unrath by flirting with him. She is a very attractive woman wearing revealing clothing with her thighs uncovered. Frustrated with Lola's antics and his inability to find his students, Unrath leaves the nightclub. He returns to the night club the next night and again returns to Lola's dressing room. This time he seems to be aroused her flirtations and sits down next to her. While they are talking, the owner of the theatre troupe that Lola is a part of brings a sea captain to her. The captain wishes to sleep with Lola and have her perform for him. The professor strongly objects to this and forcefully removes the captain from the dressing room. Lola immediately is aroused by this and begins to treat the professor with more respect. Later that ... This is not the end of the termpaper!
