There are large numbers of people in poverty around the world. Most important phenomenon that affects me personally is children at work. Children at work exist in various part of the world include in some part of the Europe and South America. End of nineteen century, early twentieth century Canada was also a victim of child labour. Children young as 4 years of age worked for very little money in the industry and in the mine, and many died of hunger and fatigue. Gradually, legal and practical measures were introduced. They were also designed to protect the adult's employment and wages because children carry out heavy-duty work and earn lower wage that could be done by and adult for a higher wage. Law in most countries prohibits Child labour. Families can't afford to pay the children for school and for that reason, the child is introduced to the outside world to practice and gain experience, also it helps the family to increase the income. Child labour is illegal therefor they can't claim social benefits that should be due to them. Children are defe...
